Don't Spend Another Penny

What could happen if we stopped spending pennies on anything except ending hunger in our communities and the world?

Those stray cents in your car, couch, pocket or backpack? Those lucky pennies and pennies for your thoughts? What if every penny instead became a prayer for the hungry and a way to end hunger? What might happen if instead of spending those pennies they went to support good efforts to end hunger, like the Two Cents a Meal program?

How many pennies can you stop spending? Your family, your youth group, your church, your school? What might happen if our entire diocesan family became known as the people who don't spend our pennies on anything except ending hunger?!

So stop it already…and start changing how we use our pennies and help change the world!
