United Thank Offering
United Thank Offering
United Thank Offering (UTO) is a ministry of the Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. Through United Thank Offering, men, women and children nurture the habit of giving daily thanks to God. These prayers of thanksgiving start when we recognize and name our many daily blessings. Those who participate in UTO discover that thankfulness leads to generosity. United Thank Offering is entrusted to promote thank offerings, to receive the offerings, and to distribute the UTO monies to support mission and ministry throughout the Episcopal Church and in invited Provinces of the Anglican Communion in the developing world.
Grant Applications
Separate UTO grant application forms are below for projects within dioceses of the Episcopal Church, Companion Diocese requests, and requests from invited provinces of the Anglican Communion.
All applications, with the exception of those from Province IX of the Episcopal Church, must be completed in English. All financial information must be submitted in U.S. Dollars.
Province IX of the Episcopal Church (Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador Central and Ecuador Litoral, Honduras, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela) must submit applications in both English and Spanish. All questions on the application form for the Episcopal Church are written in both English and Spanish, and applicants from Province IX can use that application to apply in both English and Spanish.

A Prayer of Gratitude
Gracious and abundant God, we thank you for this magicalfragile world in which you have made us to dwell. All that we are and allthat we have is gift, extravagnt and holy gift. Open our eyes in wonderbefore the beauty of the world. Enlarge our reverence for all livingcreatures and our stewardship of life.
Make us generous as you are generous, and alive as you arealive.
Turn our heart from the service of self alone that we may begrateful stewards of your gifts and servants of the common good.
Give us the mind of our Lord Jesus, whose saving embrace onthe cross makes us whole, that in humility we may love you in all things andlove one another in all grace and peace; through the same Jesus Christ ourLord. Amen

Ohio Faith Communities Launch DREAM Sabbath, Call it Campaign for Compassion and Justice
Representatives from Ohio communities of faith kicked-off DREAM Sabbath as a part of a nationwide effort to urge leaders in Congress and Ohio to pass the DREAM Act. Last year, the DREAM Act was 5 votes short of passage in the U.S. Senate, and now faith communities are uniting with DREAM eligible youth to call for compassion and justice and push for immigration policies that do not unfairly punish youth for the acts of their parents.
Speakers highlighted the 10 upcoming events in Ohio, including ones in Kent, Oberlin, Columbus, North Omsted and Dayton, as part of the national DREAM Sabbath campaign that features 210 + events in 41 states across the nation. Over the course of the next three weeks in Ohio and throughout the nation, a diverse array of religious communities across the theological and ideological spectrum will offer prayers in support of the DREAM Act and lift up the personal stories of young people in their own communities who would benefit from the DREAM Act.
