Diocesan Mission Inventory


The Episcopal Diocese of Ohio Mission Inventory is designed to be a synopsis of information on various ongoing mission ministries in every parish.   Each Parish should fill out the Diocesan Mission Inventory Response form so that accurate records can be kept and an online data base available for everyone to use.   The Diocesan Mission Inventory can be used to develop, share and collaborate on mission and outreach projects. Through our Mission Inventory individuals and parish communities can discover new opportunities for mission in Christ's name.

Diocesan Misson Inventory Response

1. Please describe or list the ministries your parish supports with financial contributions from the parish budget.

2. With regard to local outreach services, please describe or list community social service agencies supported by your parish with hands-on or in-kind contributions.

3. With regard to local outreach services, please describe or list community ministries operated at your church's location that are supported extensively by your church and/or in conjunction with other churches.

4. Please describe or list mission trips that your parish has sponsored or taken in the last five years, and state whether these trips are international or domestic and if they are made by young people or inter-generational groups.

5. Please describe the educational programs or activities your parish has under-taken in support of the Millennium Development Goals, if any.

Diocesan Mission Inventory

In 2010, the Commission for Global and Domestic Mission conducted a survey of all the parishes to see what types of mission work each was engaged in. The results are available with the hope that parishes may work with others to discover new mission opportunities and partnerships.
