Mission Office
The Episcopal Community Services exists as a faith-centered organization, which works to bring restoration, healing and liberation to the needy.
The Mission:
- To promote a reconciling Episcopal witness that encourages justice through service, compassion, and liberation; empowering both those being served and those who serve.
- To serve those in critical need through Episcopal parish programming, parishioners, and collaborative community services.
- To encourage liberation to those in need through education and through advocating for change in systems that create need.
- To adhere to our theological mandate to “do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God.” Micah 6:8
Diocesan Mission Inventory
The Episcopal Diocese of Ohio Mission Inventory is designed to be a synopsis of information on various ongoing mission ministries in every parish. Each Parish should fill out the Diocesan Mission Inventory Response form so that accurate records can be kept and an online data base available for everyone to use. The Diocesan Mission Inventory can be used to develop, share and collaborate on mission and outreach projects. Through our Mission Inventory individuals and parish communities can discover new opportunities for mission in Christ's name.
