Re-Certification Training now available ONLINE
If you or others in your ministry have been trained in Safeguarding God's Children and need your 3 year re-certification, you may now complete the recertification online. Instructions will be emailed back. You may enroll and complete the training at your convenience.

The new online training is done in three modules which are taken individually, making it a nice option when your available time is limited. When you log in again, you will see your status for each of the 3 modules. Monthly reports are available by contacting Mary Ann Semple..
Please note that all initial trainings are being done face-to-face and that this option is meant for re-certification only.

Policies for the Protection of Children and Youth
On September 9, 2010 the Diocesan Council adopted the following policies and forms for use at Diocesan events:
Policies for the Protection of Children and Youth from Abuse: Diocese of Ohio
Appendix A: Adult Event Leader and Adult Volunteer Participant form for adults participating in any Diocese of Ohio activity or event involving children and youth (must be submitted to the Christian Formation office prior to the event).
Appendix B: Driver's Declaration Form for adults who transport young people during events or activities sponsored by the Diocese of Ohio (must be submitted to the Christian Formaiton office prior to the event).
