General Convention Deputies
Clergy and lay members (four of each) elected to this position serve as deputies from the Diocese of Ohio to the General Convention of the Episcopal Church and any Special General Convention between their election and the election of their successors. At Convention, the deputies consider amendments to the church's constitution and canons, resolutions on ecclesiastical matters and social issues, adopt a budget for the ministry of the Episcopal Church, and elect people to various national offices.
